You are a sun of man

Son is gender-specific. Sun is not. That sentence is the centre of the Codex.

“Son of Man,” they say, is a title in Greek and Aramaic. In English it became male-coded, and that coding hid a movement: hidden good rising into light inside a human being. Restoring the word sun is their way of restoring the movement.

For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.

Matthew 18:11

They read “son” there as yeled — child, offspring, the one brought forth — and they say the lost were never only the twelve tribes. The Gospel of Thomas 108 is treated as a key, not a curiosity: whoever drinks from his mouth will become like him, and the hidden things will be revealed.

The boundary is drawn on purpose. We do not become the Light. We embody it, witness it, and reflect it. We do not own it, hoard it, or stand above anyone else because of it. Paul, they note, did not say he was Christ. He said Christ lived in him.

Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27
